To comfort and inspire children while fostering a love of reading, books, and libraries.

OUR MISSION

Much has been written about the benefits of reading to children. The list includes: helping the mind develop, improving vocabulary, helping children learn to read, and deepening the bond between caregiver and child. In my opinion the biggest reason to promote reading is because it opens up a whole new world of information, history, and perspective that children may not get anywhere else. In today’s world of harmful social media, short attention span entertainment, and violent movies and video games, it’s never been more important to give children positive alternatives.
