Goodnight, Butterfly

$0.00

Author and Illustrator: Ross Burach
Published: 2022

This is the third book in Ross Burach’s Butterfly series of books. I love these books! They are great stories, masterfully told, beautifully illustrated, and most importantly, very funny! Super popular with the kiddos.

I recommend that you read the books in order if you can because the butterfly’s personality and life history is built upon with each book in the series. It’s also helpful to read them out loud to yourself a few times before you read them to others. Like all great comedy, timing and delivery are everything!

In Goodnight Butterfly, the protagonist learns what it means to be nocturnal from his friend the porcupine. Butterfly tries to go back to sleep but he has so many questions! So he decides to be nocturnal too, but soon discovers that it’s just not in his nature. So Porcupine gives Butterfly some tips on how to get back to sleep.

This is a funny story but also would work well as a bedtime story. Recommended for ages 5 to 7 years.
