I love all the books in this series. Because each book is so short, they work better as a group than individually.
What I love about Moosey Moose is that I think it’s the funniest book of the series. It’s a great book to read with kids and get their brains firing because you have to think about the story a little bit. The humor is not handed to you and it’s actually funnier the second read through when you know what’s going to happen at the end. The other thing I love about this book is the illustrations: Moosey Moose is absolutely adorable and his body language and facial expressions are priceless.
This is a great book for young kids who are just starting to read and pick up site words. After reading it once or twice the kids will want to read it themselves. These types of books are great to boost the confidence in young readers.
Recommended for kids age 3 and up. Perfect for pre-school.
